Friday September 25, 4PM to 10PM, third floor at 225 W 8th Ave. Kids until seven, DJ after, and four taps running all night. If you haven't already, RSVP here — two fields and a note.

Sprizzini is bringing three pours that have never been on tap anywhere. Here's what's in the glass.

Salted Grapefruit Limoncello · 8%

Grapefruit, limoncello, citrus, salt, bubbles.

The salt is the point. It takes the edge off the grapefruit without sweetening it, so what's left is sour, bright and very easy to finish. If you only try one thing before the music comes up, try this.

Tequila Hugo Spritz · 8%

Tequila, elderflower, cucumber water, bubbles. A spa in a glass.

A Hugo is normally elderflower and prosecco. This one swaps the base for tequila and adds cucumber water, which makes it lighter and greener than it sounds. It's the pour for the 4-to-7 stretch when the room is still full of kids and nobody wants to commit to anything.

Tap 02 — elderflower, cucumber, lime, agave.

Peach & Mango Lambrusco · 9.5%

Merlot, Campari, triple sec, orange, peach, mango, tiny bubbles.

The big one. Red wine base, bitter from the Campari, sweet from the peach and mango, and a fine bead of bubbles instead of a spritz fizz. This is what Teddy is pulling from the tap below, and it's what gets poured after seven.

The fourth tap

We're not telling you. It's a rotating line of mystery pours: small-batch runs, one-offs that won't be bottled, and the alcohol-free pour so nobody gets handed a sad glass of soda. You find out what it is when it's in your hand, and it changes through the night.

How the drawings were made

Every Sprizzini drink gets the same treatment on sprizzini.com: a loose, single-weight contour drawing of the recipe on a small pedestal table, then a slow turntable so you can see the ingredients from every side. The four new ones were drawn against the existing family so the stroke weight matches, and all four turntables complete one rotation in exactly the same ten seconds, so nothing on the page spins faster than anything else.

Teddy got three new poses to go with the list: salting a grapefruit spritz himself, a deck chair with cucumber slices over his eyes, and pulling the Lambrusco tap. He tested all of them. He is fine.

Salt first. Then the sip. Salted Grapefruit Limoncello.
Cucumber optional. He insists it isn't. Tequila Hugo Spritz.
Straight off the tap. Peach & Mango Lambrusco.
